Find your way out to Chiva Falls in the Rincon Mountains to experience a great swimming hole during and after the Monsoons , make sure you are well equipped with a good 4×4! Hadley’s first choice swimming hole is Tanque Verde Falls in Redingtons Pass. For a more accessible watering hole to visit, make sure to get out to Sabino Canyon where you can walk to the falls or take a tram ride and jump off at several different stops. Pack a lunch and bring your water shoes!

Thirsty?

Hadley can be found at Trident Grill taking in a UA game or enjoying happy hour with friends and clients. Owned by a retired Navy seal, Trident has a great hometown feel with a military flair. Everyone is welcome and the food is not your average bar food, with east coast inspired menu items, to juicy burgers, you will not be disappointed! With three locations in Tucson, there is a Trident Grill near you!

A favorite choice of Roman’s is The Cushing Street Bar, there is something about that historic sonoran row home that feels so authentic. With live Jazz and a great atmosphere, you are sure to enjoy your time here.

Looking for a real Hole in Wall? Buffet Bar The on 9th St claims to be the oldest bar in Tucson! Have a drink next to a lawyer or a rodeo clown, there is a unique character on each bar stool.

There are so many hidden gems around town, its hard to narrow it down. If you have a craving in mind, just ask! We will definitely point you in the right direction!

Ever try Tacos Apson or El Manatial for Tacos? Roman is always torn between these two South Side Taco joints.

If a heavenly breakfast is what you are after try Baja Cafe , Prep & Pastry or The Cup Cafe are always winners. Need to get out of dodge for something new? Roman’s absolute favorite restaurant is the World Famous La Roca Bar and Restaurant in Nogales Mexico: order the Queso Wilson and the Mochomos for sure, top it off with a Tamarindo Margarita and you will be hooked for life!

On the weekends, head out to Mission San Xavier del Bac. Take in the beauty of the mission and enjoy an authentic Indian Frybread after. Sweet tooth? A powdered sugar and honey Frybread is for you. Looking for a filling lunch? Try the Navajo Taco made with red chile meat, beans, and yummy toppings. Want to try something completely foreign, the Ceviche Mixto or Lomo Saltado at Inca’s Peruvian Cuisine is absolutely to die for!

What to do?

Tucson has so much to offer! From hiking , to award winning shows,concerts at several amazing venues, and farmers markets, get outside and see why Tucsonans call the beautiful Sonoran Desert home.

Up for a hike? Hadley enjoys Feliz Paseos Park in the beautiful Tucson Mountains with her family, this universally accessible trails are stunning and a hidden gem. Bring your Pooch along as this one is dog friendly!

Anyone interested in a game of Pool? Roman will meet you at the Chicago Bar sometime! Great Reggae and Blues music too. Don’t forget to invite Hadley along, she spent many years on a billiards league here in town. #poolshark

Seasonal events not to miss are the Fourth Avenue Street Fairs , the Tucson Gem and Mineral Show ,2nd Saturdays Downtown , and the Desert Museum Cool Summer Nights are some events not to miss!
